Back to Venosa the Festival of the Five Continents with the fourteenth edition
Scheduled international performances of contemporary circus and the novelty of the show cooking in the square
VEIN (PZ) - It will take place Sunday in Venosa 14 ottobre 2018 the fourteenth edition of the Five Continents Festival, the festival of performances and art created by the cultural association "The Art Circus" and organized in collaboration with the Culture Department of the City of Venosa. The event is one of the events recognized as worthy to return the assets of intangibles of Basilicata Region and aims to promote awareness of traditions and cultures from around the world, mescolandole con la storia locale rappresentata dai monumenti.
New in this edition of the festival will show cooking, scheduled at 16.30 Piazza Orazio, which will precede the traditional shows with international artists and companies. Alle 18.00 will kick off the shows of the festival. To animate Piazza Orazio there will be the band Orecchiette Swing, which will offer an all Italian repertoire of swing songs, Fifth Italian duo Martina, who will perform an acrobatic performance gradually, verticality and aerial fabrics, Willy Rillo the ritrArtista, caricaturist who will create live in 1-3 minute portraits in a realistic style, comedian and comic, Kenya and the African Jungle Jeegs Acrobats, that will surprise the audience with a dance number acrobatic African. Spectacular closing at 21.00 in Largo Vescovado, with the dance show, percussion and fire Rulas Quetzal, directly from Mexico.
Since its inception in 2005, the Festival of the Five Continents was conceived as a meeting place and contamination between different cultures and peoples, in which the comparison is stimulated, enhanced diversity, encouraged dialogue, promoted knowledge, promoted multiculturalism.
