The composer Rocco lied presents the disk “weft”

The songs of the debut album in a live concert for piano solo in Venosa

Tuesday 12 August Venosa will host the official launch of the first album of Rocco lied, kind of minimalist composer and pianist. The album is titled "Textures", contains 11 songs and was produced by Artistic Management of Pasquale Cappiello and recorded in the studios of the Digital Planet Zork. The presentation, embedded within the program of the Festival of the Five Continents, will take place in Piazza Orazio starting at 21.30 and will be divided into two parts: an interview with the artist by Stephen Delacroix and a concerto for solo piano propose that the tracks on the disc.

Nato a Tolve (PZ) in 1970, Rocco lied starts from an early age to the study of piano and music theory from his father Francesco, talented musician and composer. Diploma in Conducting Brass and graduated in Composition at the Conservatory "Gesualdo da Venosa" in Potenza, he also holds a BA in Philosophy. The interest in folk music has led him to work in the past with the likes of Eugene Jackson and Tarantolati of Tricarico. For some years he performed with his piano in prestigious theaters and important reviews.

The music of Rocco lied is characterized by vibrant expressiveness, for the depth of meaning, for the wealth of facets, for the ability to arouse feelings varied and mind to travel in open spaces suspended in absolute. With deep emotion and passionate transport Rocco lied to the public gives its sweet notes, aligned with apparent ease in compositions in which lies a multiplicity of influences, ranging from blues to jazz, from folk music to the band music, all part of the wealth of artistic experiences gathered in her life.
