From 26 December, the fifth edition of Basilicata Gospel Festival

Host of the traveling festival will be the American education Atlanta Christian Chorale

VEIN (PZ) – Will the American gospel formation Atlanta Christian Chorale starred in the fifth edition of Basilicata Gospel Festival, the itinerant series of concerts organized by the cultural association "The Art Circus" Venosa. Seven stages scheduled 26 December 2016 to the 5 January 2017, that will touch five centers in Basilicata, one one of Puglia and Campania, giving the public the energy and emotion of the true gospel music of the United States. Under the artistic direction of the Artistic Management of Pasquale Cappiello, Also this year the event aims to animate the territory during the holiday season and to contribute to the promotion of off-season tourism in Basilicata.

The opening concert of the festival will be held on Monday 26 dicembre alle ore 19.30 in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Castelgrande (PZ). The timing of the event will continue 27 December to Abriola (PZ), at the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore (beginning of the concert hours 18.30), and the 28 December to Grassano (MT), at the Municipal Auditorium of Peace (hours 20.30). The Atlanta Christian Chorale is a quartet voices and piano composed by some of the best gospel singers African Americans and led by Marsha Wilson, membro del prestigioso Gospel Music Workshop of America e figura carismatica del gospel made in USA. To complete the line Derrick Tuggle, Portia Houze e Elvis Lewis Jr. the piano, all professionals who have worked with leading musicians and gospel scene groups. The Basilicata Gospel Festival hosts only international gospel formations every year, allowing a vital cultural exchange and allowing viewers to know the true gospel of the blacks of America: a song that encompasses faith, love and gratitude, who knows how to excite, drag, communicate messages of joy. Thanks to exceptional items Atlanta Christian Chorale and their unmistakable black sounds, in the warm atmosphere of the Christmas period, the public can listen to famous songs such as "Total praise", “Enjoying Jesus (Hallelujah)”, “When the saints go marching in”, "Oh happy day" and many other classics of gospel tradition.
